Hi and welcome to The Bonsaicast. We are the online resource for all things bonsai. Tune in to the podcast every week for the latest news, reviews, techniques, and growing guides regarding all species of plants and trees. Watch the site for the latest tutorials and calendar updates, as well as articles from all over the world.

I created this site and podcast because I wanted to prove that bonsai can and should be accessible to everyone. Rich or poor, old or young, there are no limitations for the art of bonsai. And make no mistake about it, bonsai is an art form, just like painting or sculpture. Your tools are your paint brushes, water and fertilizer are your paints, and the tree is your living canvas.

Just like any artistic discipline, there are basic concepts and guidelines that will help get you started. Bonsai is based on a cornerstone of very basic horticultural skills: keeping your tree alive. Without that, there is no bonsai. Here at The Bonsaicast we provide you with the information you will need to not only keep your tree alive, but to make it flourish, to train and style it, and to encourage you on your journey into The Art Of Bonsai.
